PARK CITY 🎿

This trip was done RIGHT all thanks to @nuuly for providing some awesome ski clothes. Without their help, I wouldn’t have been able to look half as fashionable on the slopes ⛷️

Hey! A little off topic, but something I wanted to share:

This gentleman popped into the store the other day completely decked out in the funkiest outfit I’ve seen in a long time. Just by walking in the door with his felted fringe jacket, I knew I needed to speak with him.

I learned that Mitch has always dressed exactly as he wants to. Whether that be through unusual patterns that don’t really go together or new colors that aren’t in his closet(s), he doesn’t care. He’s always loved clothes and has used fashion as a way to show his love for the craft for decades. As a producer in the 70s, he’s seen MANY things, and yet has always dressed to impress. While he does have multiple closests (including a guest room dedicated to his jackets), he says he hopes to only continue to fall in love with more clothes in the following years and has no intention of ever stopping. Story after story of many of his prized possessions, I just had to ask for a picture of this jolly man 🕺

While this style is certainly not for everyone or might not fit your fancy, the attitude he came in with was nothing short of extraordinary. Clothes make a difference in any situation- business meetings, running errands, shopping days, parties, etc. Mitch immediately captured my attention for several reasons. In the span of 30 minutes, he had reminded me that it doesn’t have to go together nor does it need to match; as long as you love what you wear and feel good, then the rest just comes together. His confidence coming in that door with a total indifference made me want to know his story.

Clothes are meant to tell a story and be ENJOYED!

A mix of everything ocean and the things we learn from our underwater creatures, the human existence and how we have evolved over time (including how technology effects us and everything around us as well), and the love of family and the place you live.

Coming back from a very outdoorsy trip, this was the perfect thing to really gain even more appreciation and understanding for the natural beauty and settle with the fact that there are some things we will probably never understand. And there isn't a need to either.
